About the Planned Giving Group of Connecticut
An association of more than 250 fundraising officer and people in related professions comprising all levels of experience and sharing an interest in charitable gift planning, the Planned Giving Group of Connecticut was formed in 1988.
Mission Statement
The Planned Giving Group of Connecticut will provide ethically-focused gift planning education, training and advocacy to development professionals, volunteers and donor advisors.
PGGCT meets five times annually. Our programs fall on the second Thursday in September, November, January, March and May. Except for our May program, which is an extended all-day session, meetings generally include two presentations (before and during lunch). Unless we produce an earlier workshop, our programs begin at 10 a.m. and conclude before 2 p.m. Typically, the May program begins at 8:30 a.m. and concludes by 3 p.m.
